My Crown and Glory: A Revision of the Past

In the Powdered Wig series, I'm interested in the lack of representation of people of color in art history and what exactly does that say about my history and identity as a Black woman. So, I appropriated paintings from the 1700's to imagine a different narrative as it relates to the social construction of race.
