This series is a part of a personal healing process, whereby the artist is exploring her connections to her family and ancestors through historical and present-day trauma, inherited talents, and shared experiences. As an artist and mother, Terlonge is considering what her gifts, to her daughter, her family, and future generations to come, will be. The artists’ intention is to capture the spirit and essence of where she is from, what she is made of, and who she is, and will be. It is all “In.
