Zip Coon today is a performance in which I walked through University of Florida Campus in blackface. I was interested in the juxtaposition of University of Florida's history with racism and the flamboyant minstrel character, Zip Coon. This is a document of my presence on campus as a solemn Zip Coon and the process of washing this caricature away.
